Well today is our one year anniversary! Yeah it has been a great year because of Richy, we didn't have the issue that most newlyweds do(maybe because I have known him for 19 years, sure helps)! He is the most easy going person I have every met! But I am grateful I am able to be married to such a wonderful guy!Thank you, I love you Richy! Happy Anniversary!
Happy Anniversary! That is so neat you guys knew each other for so long :)
ReplyDeleteAnd of course I remember you :)
Um the Air Force is great pretty much, although I will not lie, the time apart really does suck. It brings you closer though & time goes by pretty fast. Air Force deployments usually aren't that long, compared to other branches. My husband volunteered for this deployment because he wanted to go & help. Aaron Loves the AirForce & plans on being in for the full 20 years. They pay isn't the best, but you get food allowance, they pay for housing, schooling, (I got 6grand free for schooling just for being a military spouse) Free medical care is REALLY nice. He has had surgery on his knee & I have had 3 surgeries while he has been in & we haven't paid a dime. In the states you pretty much get to pick the Dr. you want as long as they take TRICARE. The support you get from your "military family" is great & we have made a lot of lifelong friends. Right now we are stationed over in Okinawa, Japan and although it's the last place we ever wanted to go, its fun to be able to travel & see the world. When you live overseas, they also give you COLA (cost of living assistance) and it's like $500-$800 more added to your paycheck depending on what the economy is like. What job is your husband thinking of going into? Let me know if you have any other questions, I would be happy to answer any of them for you :)
